The Bioclar System - New Era in Wastewater Treatment
Utilisation
of the BIOCLAR process technology does not stand only for improved
quality of treated water and reduced treatment expenses. It also
implies a new approach to the wastewater management:
departure from the centralised and switchover to the decentralised
system. Deployment of the BIOCLAR process technology starts a new era
in wastewater treatment.
Traditional wastewater treatment
processes are suitable only for major treatment facilities. This is why
the past designs represented megalomaniac treatment plants comprising tens of kilometers of sewer piping.
Our process technology for wastewater management uses the decentralised approach, i.e. the point of wastewater treatment is as close to the source of contamination as possible.
Compared to the traditional method, advantage of the decentralised approach can be seen in three areas:
1. Cost savings in terms of sewer piping installation, which can amount up to 80 % of the budget.
2. Re-use of the clarified water.
In the traditional process, the wastewater is discharged to the central
treatment plant, and subsequently to the receiving body. Our design
enables its re-use, saving thus the overall costs.
3. Gradual Construction Option
- municipal budget restrictions often prevent development of a sewer
system. Contrary to the traditional system, our treatment system can be
built in stages.
