Wastewater Treatment Plants for Industry and Farming
The
BIOCLAR system can be applied also for treatment of industrial
wastewater. It is widely used in the food-processing industry,
especially in meat-processing, dairy and fruit- and vegetable- processing plants. It can be put to use with great benefit also for treatment of wastewater from livestock breeding farms.
Mechanical
pre-treatment and grease skimming are vital stages in the
meat-processing effluent treatment. The biological reactor must be
designed for extreme loading and low wastewater flow rate. Similar
approach can be adopted also for dairy plants discharge. With respect
to a low pH value in wastewater produced in cheese plants, a
neutralisation stage must be included.
A different process
is required for liquid manure treatment: chemical pre-treatment must be
inserted in front of the biological treatment to achieve a high
treatment effect and optimise power consumption of the treatment
process.
Our process technology is also suitable for other
types of industrial wastewater, providing that it contains biologically
degradable pollution.
